Details SSAA along with Dr. Datoo of Institute of Business Administration (IBA) conducted landscape analysis of two sectors and their intersections: educational resources, opportunities and challenges and labor market dynamics, trends and skill demands in the context of Pakistan. The key objective of this analysis was to inform and guide ideation process of designing learning pathways to facilitate youth of Pakistan build adequate capacities: skills set and approach for employability and wellbeing.

Third Party Validation – Establishment and Operation of Basic Education Community Schools in the Country

Details SSAA has conducted Third Party Validation for Basic Education Community Schools (BECS). The main purpose of the study was to compare BECS internal school validation data with the Provincial / Region educational departmental school validation data of BECS.

Tracer Study of EU funded “Supporting TVET Reform in Pakistan” Project (TVET II) (Ex-post Evaluation)

Details SSAA as a project partner of PROMAN, Brussels, conducted tracer study of EU funded “Supporting TVET Reform in Pakistan” implemented under TVET-II. The basic objective of the assignment was to conduct tracer of TVET graduates, their employability including the uptake of self-employment opportunities. It was a nationwide study and SSAA conducted field survey of beneficiaries, FGDs and KII with training service providers and employers.

Details SSAA as project partner of VERSO consulting (project lead firm) conducted key informant interviews with concerned federal ministries, provincial departments and gathered data for mapping of social protection schemes in Balochistan, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

Details

SSAA as project partner of Support Agency for Rural & Human Association’s Development (SARHAD) provided technical advisory and managed field operations for the project in Bajour, Khyber, Orakzai and South Waziristan of FATA.

The aim of the project was to collect qualitative data on prioritization of sixteen Sustainable Development Goals relevant to local areas by engaging local communities through Focus Group Discussion and Key Informant Interviews.

The Ministry of Planning Development and Reform and UNDP envision this project as first step towards bottom up planning at national level for development projects.
